Canadian 3PL backs Hamilton’s emerging business leaders as the Golden Horseshoe becomes a strategic growth market for Darwynn
HAMILTON, Ontario – October 2026 – Darwynn, a Canadian technology-enabled third-party logistics and fulfillment provider, today announced that it is a Corporate Sponsor of the 13th Annual Hamilton 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Awards, taking place in Hamilton on October 29, 2026.
Organized by Business Link Media Group, the Hamilton 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Awards recognize forty professionals under the age of forty whose leadership, entrepreneurship and community impact are helping shape Hamilton’s future.
For Darwynn, the sponsorship reflects both the company’s customer base and its growing commitment to Hamilton and the broader Golden Horseshoe.
Many of the brands Darwynn supports began the same way: with a founder personally managing product, inventory and the first customer orders before growth created the need for professional fulfillment infrastructure.
“Darwynn exists because of founders,” said Reza Bafandeh, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Darwynn.
“Most of the brands we work with started with someone believing deeply enough in a product to build a business around it. They packed the first orders themselves, managed the inventory themselves and eventually reached the point where growth required them to let someone else into that part of the business.”
“When we look at the people being recognized through Hamilton 40 Under Forty, we see the same entrepreneurial drive we see in our customers every day. Supporting that community makes sense for us.”
Hamilton as a strategic growth market
Darwynn has identified Hamilton and the Golden Horseshoe as an important market for continued growth.
The region sits within one of Canada’s most important manufacturing, transportation and distribution corridors, with strong access to Southern Ontario, the Greater Toronto Area and major U.S. border crossings.
It is also home to a growing base of consumer brands, food and beverage companies, manufacturers and ecommerce businesses — many of which reach a point where internal warehousing and fulfillment begin to constrain growth.
Darwynn is expanding its presence in the region through new customer relationships, partnerships and fulfillment support for companies scaling across Canada and the United States.
“Hamilton is not an incidental market for us,” Bafandeh said.
“It is a region we are actively building around. If we want to grow alongside the businesses here, then we should also participate in the community that is producing those businesses. Sponsoring Hamilton 40 Under Forty is part of that commitment.”
Guoyin (Wynn) Xie, owner of 2379338 Ontario Inc., which operates the Darwynn business, said programs such as 40 Under Forty also play an important role in connecting entrepreneurs at different stages of growth.
“Building a company can be isolating, particularly in the early years when many of the most important decisions are being made by a very small group of people,” Xie said.
“Bringing emerging leaders together with people who have already navigated those challenges creates relationships, perspective and opportunities that otherwise may not happen. That is something worth supporting.”
